Our residency Q & A is
scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th at 6 PM. Dr. Brandon Bookstaver
from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy will be moderating the event, and
we have five residency programs who have RSVP'd to attend. They include:
- Greenville Health System
- McLeod Regional Medical Center
- Palmetto Health
- Spartanburg Regional Medical Center
- Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center
Please put this event on your
calendars. Students who are interested in residencies and/or hospital
pharmacy always take so much away from this meeting. You don't want to
miss it! Oh, and did I mention? Dinner will be provided!
Lastly, Attention to P4 students who participated in
the Phorcas, Interviewing, and Match process! We would love to
have some of our own at the Residency Q & A! Please let us know if
you would be kind enough to share some of the wisdom you have gained during the
process!
Contact Abby Case (acase@presby.edu)
or Caleb Wallace (crwallace@presby.edu) with any questions!

The South Carolina Society of
Health-System Pharmacists Annual Meeting took place March 14th - 17th in
Hilton Head, and PCSP was well represented!
- Our faculty advisor, Dr. Nancy Goodbar, assumed her position as the new President of SCSHP.
- Platform presentations were given by our very own Dr. Eddie Grace (Antimicrobial Stewardship); Alisha Bradley (Law Update); and Caleb Wallace (Establishment of a Statewide Mentoring Program for Pharmacy Students).
- Several students and faculty presented posters at the meeting, as well: Dr. Tommy Johnson, DeShell Brown, John Mark Dias, Nadia Jubran, Arathi Pillay, Lizzy Robinette, Steven Robinette, and Caleb Wallace.
- Two of the four SCSHP student scholarships were awarded to Lizzy Robinette and Caleb Wallace.
Thank you to everyone who attended
and supported our faculty and students!
