We know that teacher, course,
preceptor, and experiential site evaluations are time consuming and can be somewhat
tedious at times. The input that we receive from you from these
evaluations is immensely important to us, though. We want to do
something to help provide a little extra incentive for completing your
evaluations that you might appreciate.
So, here are the details:
· Beginning March 27th, the response rates for
teacher, course, preceptor, and experiential site evaluations will begin being
tracked for each class. This information will then be provided to you on
a weekly basis via PharmNews.
· The classes who have achieved a response rate of at least
85% by the deadline (April 17th for P3 and April 24th for
P1 and P2 classes) will be notified.
· Each class who has achieved a response rate of at least 85%
as of their deadline will be invited to dress down. Dress down dates will
be the week of April 20th for the P3 class and the week of
April 27th for the P1 and P2 classes. While 85% may seem high,
I can assure you that we have had classes well-surpass this rate in the past.
As you are completing your
evaluations, please keep these notes in mind:
· Do your best to make your comments count. You can do
this by making them professional, objective, descriptive (by providing
examples), and specific to the course or instructor you are evaluating.
· Don’t fill in comment blanks with not applicable or N/A,
etc. Just skip the box.
Your feedback is anonymous. If
you have any questions regarding evaluations, feel free to contact Ms. McCaslan,
Director of Assessment and Academic Services at mmccaslan@presby.edu.
Thank you sincerely for giving of
your time and energy to provide us with your important feedback!!!
